Badminton is an easy sport to learn and play, a great way to have fun and exercise. It is considered a moderate-intensity activity so it is great for getting in those recommend 60 minutes (5-18 years old) or 150 minutes (19-64 years old) per week of physical activity as per NHS guidelines for children/young people / NHS guidelines for adults.
This set comes with everything you need for up to four players to play. It is supplied with the rackets, shuttlecocks, net and net posts that are all contained in a handy carry bag so that you can play it almost anywhere – the garden, the park or even on the beach.
It has four rackets so you can play 2 player games or play a game of doubles with four players. The kids can easily play along with the adults so is excellent for family fun. The rackets are lightweight (about 96g each) but strong and are suitable for beginners as they are evenly balanced for speed and power. The net is extremely easy to set up, you just need somewhere to dig the net posts into the ground.
Playing is simple, all you have to do is hit the shuttlecock over the net and your opponent hit it back to you. You score points if the shuttlecock hits the ground in your opponent’s half. It is lots of fun to play and you don’t have to be the fittest person to join it and its excellent for keeping you active.
This is an excellent badminton beginner’s set that is perfect for the garden, park or taking away with you on holiday as it is very portable, and it doesn’t take up much space as it is all contained in its own carry bag.
Overall, we loved getting outside and playing with this set. It is very quick and easy to set up and is perfect for players of all abilities, ages and sizes – lots of active fun, is great exercise and is excellent for family bonding time.
The Yonex GR303 Badminton Racket and Net Set is perfect for beginners and families. The rackets are evenly balanced and strung for beginners, not too fast or too powerful. Supplied with four rackets, it means the whole family can join in and enjoy the competitiveness of the activity whilst having some fantastic fun and spending some quality family time together. When finished playing, everything packs aways neatly into its own carry bag and is easy to store without taking up lots of room.
As for the quality of the set and its components, they look and feel very good and are durable.
We have loved this set as it is compact, quick and easy to set up, and easy to play. The rackets aren’t too heavy, and they feel quite robust and durable.
The Yonex GR303 Badminton Racket and Net Set is an excellent set for beginners or people that just what to play for recreational fun. It is an excellent way get everybody out in the fresh air and enjoying the outdoors, an excellent way to bond with friends and family and is also very good exercise, so everybody can keep active whilst getting some exercise but also while having lots of fun.
