The Edifier Prisma Encore Bluetooth Speakers have an eye-catching design and are easy on the ears!
Over the weekend I was also trying out the Edifier Prisma Encore e3360BT Multimedia Speakers.
The Edifier Prisma Encore 2. 1 speakers have to be my favourite speakers I have tried from Edifier so far. Edifier speakers always have their own unique styling and the Prisma Encore to me looks like it belongs on a spaceship with its futuristic warrior helmet looking design, and I love them!
The Edifier Prisma Encore comes with an awesome looking subwoofer, 2 satellite speakers and a funky little remote control.
The subwoofer comes in white or black (I received in white to review) and has a glossy finish. It features touch controls near the tip for power, Bluetooth and volume. It has a power output of 40W and a downward-firing 5 inch subwoofer. It measures approx. 28cm x 21cm x 30cm (W x H x D). The subwoofer has connections for power, left and right speakers and aux on the rear.
The satellite speakers take on a conical shape and also have a glossy finish except the front where it has material covering a 3” mid-range unit and a ¾” silk-domed tweeter giving RMS 12Wx2 output.
The Edifier Prisma Encore also comes with a small triangular remote control featuring 4 buttons; on/off, volume up, volume down and Bluetooth.
The speakers connect individually to the subwoofer by a wired cable and you can connect your device (I was using my Tablet) to the subwoofer by an audio cable (supplied) or wirelessly by Bluetooth).
Connecting by Bluetooth is extremely easy, just press the Bluetooth symbol on the subwoofer and the light at the top turns from green to blue and then scan for devices on your device and pair. It’s that simple.
The sound produced is really crisp and clear, but then I have come to expect that from Edifier products. Even at its loudest volume the sound wasn’t distorted.
Overall these are a great set of 2.1 speakers that are very easy on the eye with its eye-catching design and easy on the ears with its crisp sound. They would make a great talking point in any room without looking out of place.
