With lots of us having websites for personal or business use, graphics are a massive feature. Every website will use graphics and images for logos, headers, post images and then with that are associated logos and headers for all your social media sites. Using a graphic designer can be very expensive whilst graphic design software can be costly and takes a lot of time to learn it. Online graphic design software can help reduce these costs and help you make your own professional looking designs and logos with a few clicks, saving you a fortune and creating beautiful designs that you can edit and change whenever the need requires it without having the need for a graphic designer who has time available to work within your timescales and budgets.
DesignCap is online graphic design software with thousands of templates to help you do just that, you can even create your own from scratch using the tools. I’m not a graphic designer so when asked to try out the ease of DesignCap I was more than happy to give it a go, and it really is easy software to use that gives a professional looking output.
DesignCap is an internet-based software program, so there is no need to install anything on your computer, tablet or phone. It allows the user to create professional looking designs for marketing & events, documents and social media such as flyers, logos, posters, cards, infographics, graphics for social media sites and more. It has three usage plans available, including a free version.

Basic Plan – has unlimited templates, unlimited stock icons, unlimited modules, High-res PNG & PDF exports, 100 image uploads and save 100 designs. This plan costs $8.99 (approx. £6.75) per month or $59.88 (approx. £44.95) billed annually (works out as $4.99 (approx. £3.75) per month, saving $48).
Plus Plan – has unlimited templates, unlimited stock icons, unlimited modules, High-res PNG & PDF exports, upload your fonts, 1000 image uploads and save 1000 designs. This plan costs $12.99 (approx. £9.75) per month or $71.88 (approx. £53.96) billed annually (works out as $5.99 (approx. £4.50) per month, saving $84).
Using the software is really simple. Once you have decided what type of image you want to create you can select a template from the thousands of designs (you can also do a keyword search for a specific phrase such as Christmas). Once you have found a design you like you can just click on the components you want to change (e.g. text boxes you click on and overtype with your own text). Once you have created your image you can save and export to JPG format (or high-res PNG & PDF if you are using one of the paid plans).
You can also create you own designs from scratch using DesignCap’s large library of stock images and illustrations, easily adding images, backgrounds and text and using the tools to add in elements such as speech bubbles and shapes, photos, charts, social media icons and even modules like statistics and comparisons.
There is no complicated or steep learning curve, it really is a case of click and go with the only limit being your own creativity skills. There is even a learning page giving step-by-step instructions on how to create the perfect design and giving some ideas and inspiration.
Overall, DesignCap is really easy to use straight away without having to learn too much about the software, it really is all pretty self-explanatory – you just need to know what you what you want to design, which can be the biggest problem. It is also very fast and responsive to use and isn’t a clunky piece of software.
I have enjoyed using DesignCap. It is simple and fast to use and the output is very professional looking. It is an inexpensive program and will save a fortune in design fees for everyday graphics such as infographics and flyers.
A good quality and striking design that catches the eye can really help get your message seen and out there and DesignCap can help you achieve that.
