Now You See Me by Sharon Bolton Review

Now You See Me

Now You See Me is a superb, thrilling and gripping read.

Now You See Me by Sharon Bolton is a fantastic crime thriller that sees Detective Constable Lacey Flint investigating murders similar to that of the world’s most infamous serial killer, Jack the Ripper!

DC Lacey Flint has a troubled past. She turned her life around to become a police officer with the Met Police in London.

When a woman dies in the arms of DC Flint and a mutilated corpse is discovered in London, both around the anniversaries of Jack the Ripper’s killing spree, a copycat killer is feared to on the loose and 3 more gruesome murders are expected.

DC Flint is a young inexperienced detective with a great knowledge of Jack the Ripper and some becomes bait to find the killer.

This is a fabulous crime story that is not only filled with tense drama and suspense but some great surprises. The blurb on the back of the book describes it a “nerve-shredding, up-all-night thriller” and I would have to agree as I found it very difficult to put down.

A superb, thrilling and gripping read. A well-written novel that If you haven’t read anything by Sharon Bolton before I can highly recommend Now You See Me. If you like horrific crime thrillers that keep you guessing right until the end then this is definitely one for you, from the first page you you are hooked.

I am now off to read the second Lacey Flint instalment, Dead Scared. If it half as good as Now You See Me I’m in for a treat!
