The Night Before Christmas is an excellent story with beautiful illustrations that children will adore!
With about 2 weeks to go before Santa pays a visit to children around the world we were delighted to receive a copy of The Night Before Christmas from NurseryBox Books.

Everybody knows the Clement Clarke Moore poem of the same name as it has been told in many forms for years. But this year sees a retelling of this classic tale but with a twist, Santa is visiting a family of bears on Christmas Eve to deliver their presents.
So now on to the book itself.
The book is about A4 in landscape with a bright and colourful image on Santa, his sleigh and of course his reindeer on the cover.
The story is broken into 1 or 2 rhyming sentences per page and each page in illustrated with beautiful, bright and bold colourful images with great attention to detail. All the bears are tucked up safely in bed until Father Bear is awakened after hearing a noise and see Santa filling the children’s Christmas sacks with their presents, thankfully the child bears remain asleep.
Children will love this great, short story with the beautiful illustrations and it will make a great bedtime read on Christmas Eve!
At only £4.99 for the paperback version (also available as an eBook version) it is definitely value for money as the story is one young children will enjoy and the illustrations jump out of the page, each page filled with colour.
A great Christmas read to get all children ready for the big day and their visit from the man himself!
