The Jesper Jinx Series

Jesper Jinx Series

Jesper Jinx is the world’s (un)luckiest prankster!

If your children love books that feature juvenile humour, pranks, sibling rivalry, adventure and lots of fun then you can’t go wrong with the excellent Jesper Jinx series by Marko Kitti.

So far the series is made up of 6 books; Jesper Jinx, Jesper Jinx and the Sneezing Season, Jesper Jinx and the Turkish Pepper, Jesper Jinx Goes Fishing, Jesper Jinx and the Scrumptious Snacks and the latest release Jesper Jinx’s Best Friend (click on the links to read my reviews!).

Jesper is a typical 11 year old boy who lives in the seaside town of Puffington Hill on the south coast of England. He lives with his mum, dad and his 12 year old sister, Melinda, who is his arch enemy and is a target for a lot of his pranks. Jesper, along with his best friend Oliver Oliverson, loves playing pranks but they inevitability go wrong and everything he touches usually ends up in disaster.

This series of books are about Jesper’s life, family and pranks, although the books are top secret and Jesper cannot know of their existence. So, if you do pick up a copy to read, you are sworn to secrecy (and required to sign secrecy agreements to read the books!). The books are made up of several short stories that will delight and entertain even the most reluctant of readers. Whether you are 7 or 107, Jesper’s juvenile pranks are hilarious.
