I love having something that is just that little bit different, something quirky in each room that adds a bit of a talking point which doesn’t look too out of place and in keeping with the style of the room.
The bathroom is the one place that I have never really put much thought into before and most people don’t really have much furniture in this room. That is until I saw Red Candy’s Baabara the Sheep Toilet Roll Holder. A quirky little item that is functional, looks good and definitely adds that something to the bathroom.
Baabara is a black metal toilet roll holder that looks like a sheep that holds up to 7 toilet rolls, the toilet rolls make up the body of the sheep. We use white toilet rolls in our bathroom so Baabara currently has a fluffy white body (although the kids have now decided they want her to have a different colour fleece next time – probably pink!), but you can use whatever colour you want, giving your sheep a colourful fleece. Fully loaded with all 7 toilet rolls definitely gives the best-looking effect.
She measures approx. 37.5X27X13.5cm. There is very minimal assembly and no tools are required (unless wall mounting). Out of the box, all you need to do is slot on the head to the body and fill with toilet rolls.
Baabara can be floor mounted, sat on top of a bathroom unit or even mounted on the wall (screw holes are on the body but no screws or wall mounting kit is supplied). I have mine on top of a small bathroom unit and she looks great (if I do say so myself, although I won’t “bleat” on about it). She stands very well of a flat surface and is very steady on her feet.
Since Baabara has taken out residence in bathroom she has been a talking point with visitors. She has definitely given our bathroom a quirkiness that looks good and makes the room much more interesting. She has even managed to get the kids refilling her when her fleece is on the low side and even got them refilling the toilet roll dispenser when empty, what a bonus!
Baabara is very happy at home in our baaathroom and we have ditched our previous toilet roll holder. She is an excellent unusual, quirky and stylish addition to the room.
